  1. Differences between groups on normal distributed data were tested using unpaired t-test and Chi-square test for samples >5 and Fisher’s exact for samples < 5. Data are presented as mean ± standard deviation (SD) or as numbers with percentages (%) in brackets. For skewed data Wilcoxon Mann-Whitney test were used and data were presented as median and interquartile range [IQR] in brackets. P-values < 0.05 were considered as statistically significant for all tests.
