Sumatriptan injected 90 min after induction of headache did not reverse AITC-induced depression of wheel running. Sumatriptan (1 mg/kg) or saline (1 mL/kg) was injected 90 min after dural injection of 10% AITC. Administration of sumatriptan (n = 8) at this time point had no effect on depressed wheel running compared to saline-treated animals (n = 7)
