The timeline and experimental steps in this research. Rats were randomly assigned to the experimental groups after 7 days of acclimatization. On the 8th day, rats underwent surgery for the establishment of the CM model, and rats with dura damage during the surgery were excluded. From the 9th day, rats were allowed to recover for 7 days to ensure that the pain thresholds were restored to the preoperative level. From the 16th day, rats were subjected to dural infusions of 5 μl of PBS/IS and behavioral tests for 7 days. On the 23rd day, rats were treated with intraventricular drug injections, and behavioral tests were performed.
