Table 1 Criteria for Experimentally-Induced Migraine-Like Headache in People with Persistent Post-Traumatic Headache

From: CGRP-induced migraine-like headache in persistent post-traumatic headache attributed to mild traumatic brain injury

Migraine-like headache has at least two of the following characteristics:

• Unilateral location,

• Pulsating quality,

• Moderate to severe pain intensity, and

• Aggravation by or causing avoidance of routine physical activity (e.g., walking or climbing stairs);

And during headache, at least one of the following:

• Nausea and/or vomiting,

• Photophobia and phonophobia, or

• Headache mimicking their usual migraine-like headache
