Correlation data for in vitro pEC50 versus the clinical plasma concentration Cmax for multiple triptans and ditans. A significant correlation was observed between the Cmax and pEC50 for the 5-HT1B receptor (A), and 5-HT1D receptor (B) but not 5-HT1F receptor (C). Worth noticing is the correlation being negative for 5-HT1B receptor and 5-HT1D receptor, meaning that the more potent against needed lower Cmax for clinical effect, opposite to the 5-HT1F receptor correlations. Data is displayed as individual data points with p-values and R2 obtained from the correlation analysis. The pEC50 data points are from [23] and detailed references and data points for the Cmax can be found in Supplementary Table 1
