The control subject shows activation predominantly around the primary motor area. The acute migraine subject show activation around the primary motor cortex as well as other areas (green arrows). The chronic migraine subject shows activation out of the primary motor area, which appear to be overshadow the activation around the primary motor areas (green arrow). Neuromagnetic in 1000–2884 Hz shows the most disorganized pattern in the chronic migraine subject as compared with the control.
