The human μ-opioid receptor gene polymorphism (A118G) is associated with head pain severity in a clinical cohort of female migraine with aura patients

Chi-squared (χ²) analysis revealed significant association between genotypic frequencies for the A118G SNP in the OPRM1 gene and high scores for head pain in MA females. Values are total number genotypes. Significance was taken at P ≤ 0.05
