Pretreatment with anandamide (AEA) induced a significant increase of nitroglycerin-induced neuronal activation in several brain nuclei, which include paraventricular (PVH) and supraoptic nuclei (SON) of the hypothalamus, parabrachial nucleus (PAB), periaqueductal grey (PAG). By contrast, AEA induced a significant decrease of Fos expression in the nucleus trigeminalis caudalis (NTC) and area postrema (AP). *p < 0.05 versus NTG4 h group. Data were expressed as mean ± SD
